The moment that we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. Forget about endorsements from Colin Powell, Hillary Clinton and all of the Republicans that have decided to cross party lines this Election season. Tonight on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report,” Peabody award winner Stephen Colbert FINALLY announced who he will be endorsing for the 2008 Elections that being, Sen. Barack Obama. However, in the midst of his endorsement Colbert stated:
“I am voting for John Mccain, he may be in an uphill struggle in these final days but i believe he can still win. He just needs to do something to prove that he has the judgement to lead and knows wherre this country wants to go— You know what, I have it. Sen. Mccain you need to endorse Barack Obama. That would really make you look like a Maverick.”

“We have to use profiling, and I mean be very serious and harsh about the profiling. If you are an 18-28-year-old Muslim man then you should be strip searched. And if we don’t do that there’s a very high probability we’re going to lose an airline.”
