| Pig in Lipstick or Pit-bull Disguised as Pig in Lipstick? Who is Sarah Palin? |

So the Presidential debates begin next week and what a surprise,it appears that the fix is already in. According the the New York Times, “The Obama and McCain campaigns have agreeed to an “unusual free-flowing format” for the three televised presidential debates which begin on Friday” [Sounds normal enough]. The Mccain campaign however has fought long and hard for a more “structured” debate between Gov. Sarah Palin and Senator “Joe” Biden [Anyone care to have a spelling 'B'?]. The New York Times reports, “At the insistence of the Mccain campaign the Oct. 2 debate between the two [Palin/Biden] will have shorter question and answer segments than those for the presidential nominees”, “There will also be much less opportunity for free-wheeling, direct exchanges between the running mates. McCain advisers said they had been concerned that a loose format could leave Ms. Palin, a relatively inexperienced debater, at a disadvantage and largely on the defensive.” I’m guessing the REAL reason for the changes is most likely because Palin will know the questions or I should say, the questions most likely to be asked and will therefore have ’scripted answers’ versus talking about what she honestly believes or lack there of. In either case this is a mockery of our elections. Would they have done the same if say Hillary Clinton were the V.P? If John Mccain were not available for whatever reason, what happens when/IF Gov. Sarah Palin has to ‘debate’ with Hugo Chavez, Vladimir Putin or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? At that time will Palin or her party the Republi-cants ask for a time out?

“We have to use profiling, and I mean be very serious and harsh about the profiling. If you are an 18-28-year-old Muslim man then you should be strip searched. And if we don’t do that there’s a very high probability we’re going to lose an airline.”

I think when Sarah Palin debates with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the world spontaneously combusts.

[...] thought she would at the Vice Presidential debate [That's not saying much]. Take away the fact that the Republican party had the debate rules modified to accommodate Sarah Palin, and take away the fact that 90 percent of Palin’s dialog involved [...]
