Alot of people are celebrating because of the recent Gallup Poll results which show Obama having an 8-point margin over Mccain. I on the other hand think that the numbers are quite frightening, my reasoning you ask; they’re too close. In an economy that’s failing where we have 7,000 people loosing their homes EVERYDAY to foreclore [Homelessness], Obama is only leading by eight points. In an economy where gas has reached $4-5 a gallon in certain areas, Obama is ONLY leading by eight points. We’re in the middle of a war that no one agree’s with except for the people to old to enlist in it, and Obama is only leading by eight points. Did I mention that the dollar is STILL loosing it’s value? How about the fact that Iraq, Iran, Israel, Europe, China, Russia, Cuba and according to this website even God hates America. I’m not saying that 50% isn’t a land mark but if all of this is currently happening and people are still voting for Mccain and the Republi-cants then we have a long way. As far as I can remember, elections have always came down to ‘battleground’ states and slim margins. It’s not over until the Mccain sings.

“We have to use profiling, and I mean be very serious and harsh about the profiling. If you are an 18-28-year-old Muslim man then you should be strip searched. And if we don’t do that there’s a very high probability we’re going to lose an airline.”

I’ll take it a step further, if Bush still has a 35% approval rating, then anything is possible.

I certainly don’t have any faith after 2004 for Americans to ever make a good decision on President again. Americans are so easily distracted from real issues to ever get anything done. “Economy failing due to Republicans? Uh, well, hey how ’bout that abortion! And gays getting married! And don’t forget about Mexicans taking the jobs you don’t want!” And to make matters worse now they’ve given them eye candy with Palin (I definitely believe the bikini gun pic was uploaded by them) where people like Limbaugh spend more time talking about how hot she is than qualifications. It’s so sad, but people get the governments they deserve if they don’t pay attention. It’s just unfortunate that the people who do like us still have to live through it.
